Globemaster Allium The Allium 'Globemaster', 'Allium albopilosum/elatum', a fall planted ornamental onion bulb, will produce large flowers. This gigantic Allium is a cross breed between Allium albopilosum and Allium elatum. One flower measures 10" across and the flowering period lasts for several weeks to a month. New florets constantly appear and cover the old ones. The Allium Globemaster is ideal for containers, mass plantings, borders, and cut flowers. These plants are rabbit, squirrel, and deer resistant. Globemaster has a bloom period of about 3 weeks to a month and they bloom in late spring to early summer.
